Accessibility deliverables are usually treated as a compliance line item and produced last, by whoever is cheapest. They are also the version of your film a real part of your audience will actually experience. Getting caption placement and reading rate right is craft work, and it shows. Where a delivery calls for Audio Description, we scope it and run it through partner facilities so it arrives to the same standard as everything else.

How accessibility work runs

    Spec first

    We confirm the platform requirements before authoring, because Netflix, Amazon, broadcast, and DCP disagree with each other.

  2. 02

    Author

    Captions and subtitles written and timed to the locked picture, reviewed at playback speed. Audio Description is briefed out to a partner facility and checked back against the same picture.

  3. 03

    Conform and deliver

    Retimed to every version that needs it and delivered in the exact formats each distributor accepts.
