Color Grading

Supervised grading for features, docs, and shorts

Most of the work that comes through here is documentary, where the grade has to hold together across sources that were never meant to be cut side by side: modern digital, archival broadcast, scanned film, phone footage, screen recordings. The job is making that feel like one film rather than a survey of formats.

What’s included

  • Supervised sessions in person or remote
  • ACES and managed color pipelines
  • HDR mastering — Dolby Vision, HDR10, P3
  • Mixed-source matching across eras and formats
  • Look development and LUT design
  • Shot-level cleanup, relighting, and beauty work

How a grade runs

  1. 01

    Prep and conform

We conform from your turnover, relink to originals, and check the timeline against the locked cut before any color work starts.

  2. 02

    Look development

A pass on representative scenes to establish the film's range, reviewed before we commit the whole timeline to it.

  3. 03

    Supervised pass

You sit in — in the suite or over a calibrated remote session — and we work through the film scene by scene.

  4. 04

    Trim and deliver

Notes addressed, then trim passes for each deliverable target so the HDR, SDR, and web versions all hold.

Talk to us about your project.

Send the cut, the delivery dates, and what you are up against. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right room for it.
